Angela has become not only a consultant for my father’s care, but also a trusted friend

I first met Angela Manz at a workshop she did about Veteran’s Benefits in 2009. I was impressed with her understanding of the eligibility policies and procedures for the Aid and Attendance program that is available to veterans who need assisted living care.
My father moved to an assisted living facility almost four years ago. His level of care has changed as he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He needs specialized care for dementia patients. I have consulted with Angela to explore options and resources to ensure that he receives the most appropriate care. Even though my parents had an estate plan in place, it has been necessary to review and revise the plan to meet the increased costs for his care. Angela has helped me prioritize the spending of his assets in addition to considering Medicaid and establishing an irrevocable trust.
During this time, Angela has become not only a consultant for my father’s care, but also a trusted friend. She has been available for questions through emails and phone calls. I strongly agree with Angela’s saying that her “practice is not just business, it’s personal”. Angela has responded to simple questions as well as referrals in a time of crisis. She is understanding of the emotions that are involved in difficult decisions.
I have recommended Angela to my friends. If you need help with caring for an elderly parent, I recommend her services to you too!”
